R Madhavan praised Bengaluru Terminal-2 Airport

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video of R. Madhavan on his social media account. Actually, R Madhavan had shared a video on social media praising the infrastructure of Terminal 2 of Bengaluru Airport.

The actor had praised the development at the airport terminal by sharing the video. While sharing the video, the Prime Minister wrote - This is an example of the new generation infrastructure being built for the development of the country.

In this video, R Madhavan is saying that infrastructure development is happening very fast in India. I am at New Kempegowda International Airport and I can say that this place looks quite exotic. At first glance, no one would believe that this is really just an airport.

The plants that are seen hanging from the ceiling are all real. In these, water is given from the ceiling every day. A lot of construction here has been done with the help of bamboo. The theme of the airport gives the message of sustainability.

From September 12, all international flight operations in Bengaluru will be operated from Terminal-2 of Bengaluru Airport. In November last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the construction of a new terminal at Bengaluru Airport.

The first phase of construction of the terminal may cost around Rs 13,000 crore. This terminal is built in an area of 2.5 lakh square feet. In the second phase, further construction will be done in a 4.41 lakh square feet area.
