Meta is testing a new feature, Instagram reels can be posted directly on threads
Threads: Currently, many users share their Instagram posts and reels on threads so that they can get more engagement on their content and increase their followers. The arrival of this new button is expected to help users get even more engagement and increase the visibility of the content.

Meta launched Threads a year ago as a direct microblogging rival to Elon Musk's X, formerly called Twitter. As the platform continues to grow, Meta will continue adding new features to it. The social medial giant is working on a new feature allowing users to directly post Instagram Reels on threads. This new feature might form part of Meta's plan to enable a cross-posting feature for easier sharing between the different apps.
According to Alessandro Paluzzi, (@alex193a), one of the well-respected developers, Threads test the feature allowing users to share their Instagram Reels and posts directly on the threads. According to one screenshot that Paluzzi shared, a new Instagram option will be added to the Threads drop-down menu that will join existing options for GIF, Voice, and Poll. The new Instagram button will be tapped in the compose box of Threads showing a grid displaying Instagram posts and reels. There, users will have an option to choose which reels and posts they want to share in Threads.
