Hero MotoCorp has recently launched the new 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V motorcycle. This sports commuter bike received many major and minor upgrades. The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V prices start at Rs 1,38,500 and go up to Rs 1,39,500 ex-showroom Delhi for the new colour. Now, it is available in a fully loaded variant called 'Premium'. The new 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V bike gets a 163.2 cc single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine. The mill is rated at 16.6 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of peak torque. This comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. As for cycle parts, front suspension consists of a USD fork while the rear receives a preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking performance comes from disc brakes on both ends. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The major transition features on the 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V over the older model include dual-channel ABS, segment-first panic brake alert, and drag timer that records 0-60 kmph and quarter-mile [0-402 m] sprints. For MY2024, the Xtreme 160R 4V comes fitted with a single-piece seat, flat and quite low in height for more comfort of the pillion rider. The earlier model was available with split seats. While the more visible feature distinguishes it from its siblings, notably the Xtreme 160R two-valve always came with a single seat.

The MY2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V gets a new speedometer which is now 300 per cent brighter to provide better clarity. The taillight design, on the other hand, is all-new and carries a more prominent H-motif as seen on the new Hero models. The looks and design of the motorcycle remain similar in the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. The bike, however gets a new Kevlar Brown paint scheme finished in Black and Bronze. It gets new body graphics. While the Neon Shooting Star and Matte Slate Black colours have been retained.
