Political Journey and Leadership

Currently serving as the National Executive Member of BJP Mahila Morcha, Dahiya has played a crucial role in several party-building initiatives such as the Rashtriya Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024, Samrasata Abhiyan, and Poshan Abhiyan.

During the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, she worked tirelessly as the Coordinator of Malviya Nagar Vidhan Sabha, mobilizing voters and strengthening grassroots efforts that contributed significantly to the BJP’s victory.

Her organizational skills are evident—under her leadership, thousands of women from eight states joined the BJP. In South Delhi alone, she enrolled more than 15,000 members, one of the highest individual contributions to the membership drive.

Dahiya has been at the forefront of numerous public campaigns. She led protests against the Delhi government’s VAT hikes on fuel and extended full support to MCD workers fighting for their pending salaries. For over a decade, she has consistently raised her voice against AAP MLA Somnath in Malviya Nagar.

Her activism also extends beyond politics. She has organized blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, anti-dowry campaigns, and awareness programs against female foeticide. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she distributed sanitizers, masks, food, and fruits across her constituency, reflecting her humanitarian spirit.

With more than 400,000 followers on Facebook and a strong presence on Twitter, Instagram, and the NaMo App, Dahiya has effectively used digital platforms to connect with people.

Her contributions have been widely recognized. She made history as the first woman in Haryana to be honored with a traditional turban, a mark of respect and leadership. She has also represented her institutions in debates, drama, and essay competitions, while excelling in sports—winning gold medals in badminton, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis at various levels.
