Maruti Suzuki's first electric SUV eVX spotted in Gurugram
EV seen on road during testing, will be launched in India in 2025. Maruti Suzuki India Limited's (MSIL) first electric SUV eVX has been spotted testing in Gurugram. The car has been seen near the company's plant. In the spy shots leaked on social media, the car looks like a concept model.

MSIL will launch the car by 2025. The company introduced the car for the first time at the Indian Auto Expo 2023. After this, an almost production ready model was shown in the mobility show held in Japan in October this year.
Driving range up to 550km on full charge
For performance, the eVX will be provided with a 60KWh battery pack and an electric motor. The company claims that this car will give a driving range of up to 550km once fully charged. However, power figures have not been revealed yet.
eVX looks completely different from traditional SUV
The eVX is based on Toyota's 40PL platform designed for electric vehicles, with space for fitment of batteries on the floorboard. With this, the car cabin is going to be quite spacious. Inspired by the broad concept of an emotionally versatile cruiser, the eVX looks completely different from a traditional SUV.
The eVX's upright posture, horizontal hood, commanding high seating, maximum cabin size, long wheelbase, big wheels, high ground clearance and signature LED light elements are key design elements of Suzuki's SUV heritage. Keeping the futuristic design in mind, it has been prepared to provide aerodynamics. All these features make it different from others as a car with advanced technology.
