Electric commuter bike Revolt RV1 launched, will give range of 160 KM, will be fully charged in 90 minutes
Electric commuter bike Revolt RV1 has been launched in India. It has been brought in two variants RV1 and RV1+, both priced at Rs 84990 and Rs 99990 respectively. It has been brought in two battery options. Out of which one is 2.2 kWh battery and 3.24 kWh battery. Both these batteries will give a range of 100 km and 160 km respectively.

Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer Revolt Motors has launched its second electric bike. The name of this bike is Revolt RV1. It has been launched in two variants RV1 and RV1+. In all, the RV1 and its premium variant have been introduced in four color options. The Revolt RV is coming for an ex-showroom price of Rs 84,990, while the RV1+ has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 99,990. With this launch, the premium electric lineup of Revolt Motors will further improve, which includes several popular models such as RV400 and RV400 BRZ.
The bike comes fitted with a 6-inch digital LCD display. Along with that, it has stylish LED headlamps and tail lamps. The charger storage is inbuilt in both variants. The bike features disc brakes on both wheels; this feature is not found on most of the other commuter bikes. The bike will also feature several speed modes, one of which is the reverse mode. This will facilitate easy parking of the bikes. Wide tyres provide this bike with more stability.
The motor is mid-mounted, and the transmission is by chain drive. It comes with two options for batteries; one has a 2.2 kWh battery that has a range of 100 km, while the opposite is a 3.24 kWh giving a range of 160 km. There are claims by the company that both battery variants have IP67 rating for water resistance. The bike will also come with the option of fast-charging technology to fully charge the battery of the bike in just 1.5 hours.
The upgrade of RV400 was announced by the company during the launch of RV1. It will come with a fast charger which will be fully charged only in 90 minutes, while reverse mode features would make the parking of the bike easier. It has better digital display features, a comfortable seat, Bluetooth connectivity, an in-built leg guard, and center stand. Extended range up to 160km is available apart from this.
