Lamborghini Urus SE launched in India, priced at Rs 4.57 crore; Will accelerate from 0 to 100 in 3.4 seconds

The Lamborghini Urus SE has a slightly longer bonnet while the headlamp unit has been slimmed down. It is equipped with Matrix LED technology with wraparound DRLs. There are new character lines on the bonnet with which Lamborghini claims that both aerodynamics and cooling efficiency have been improved. Some minor changes have also been made inside the SE.

Lamborghini Urus SE has been launched in India. The Urus SE has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.57 crore. The Lamborghini Urus SE was first launched in the US at the Lamborghini Lounge in NYC. This performance SUV is the successor to the Urus.

Apart from fitting an updated powertrain under the hood, Lamborghini has also updated the Urus SE with design tweaks. However, the silhouette of the SUV remains similar to that of the Lamborghini Urus lineup.

Other changes on this super SUV include new character lines on the bonnet, which Lamborghini says to have provided improvements both to aerodynamics and cooling efficiency. Other updates made on board the Urus SE include an updated front bumper, grille, and rear diffusor. It now features sharper visuals and an all-new tail-lamp grille.

There are minor changes inside the SE, too, where the Urus SE cabin gets newly designed air vents, updated materials, and new panel and dashboard covering. Besides, this new Lamborghini Revuelto uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with more responsive UIs and adds a dedicated telemetry system.

The Lamborghini Urus SE is powered by a 3996 cc twin-turbo V8 engine with a plug-in hybrid system. It has a 25.9 kWh battery pack mated to an 8-speed torque converter. The powertrain develops 778 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. However, the Italian carmaker has also claimed that the Urus SE mentions a better power-to-weight ratio—3.13 kg/CV—while the Urus S has 3.3 kg/CV.

The Urus SE's rev-limiter is placed at 6,800 rpm, with its power being channeled to all four wheels via an integrated differential at the front, a hang on differential in the middle, and the electronic self-locking differential with torque vectoring at the rear.

Lamborghini claims that the Urus SE will hit 100 km/h from rest in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h.
