Veteran motorcycle maker Kawasaki has launched its much-awaited Ninja 650 bike in the Indian market. The company has launched it more than the prices of the old model. This latest version has been launched with the emulation standard OBD2.
Talking about its design, it looks similar to the old model. Which the company has taken forward. It gets fully-faired styling, twin-pod LED headlamps at the front, a windshield above the front apron, a step-up seat with a floating tail section, and an underbelly exhaust. It has been launched in a single lime green paint scheme.
Talking about the features of the latest motorcycle, it gets a TFT color instrument display. Apart from this, an LED headlight and taillight, traction control system, and smartphone connectivity have been given, which works with Kawasaki's Rideology application.
Coming to the powertrain, the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is expected to retain the signature 649cc parallel-twin engine. But it generates 67.3 bhp power at 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm torque at 6,700 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Kawasaki KX112, on the other hand, has been designed for riders looking for a powerful option. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 4.88 lakh. Talking about the engine, it has been equipped with a 112-cc, liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single-cylinder engine. It has been given a 6-speed gearbox. Features include adjustable 36-mm USD forks, 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels, and petal power brakes.
