Kia will make a big announcement in October, can introduce new electric SUV EV9

South Korean company Kia, which offers many great SUVs and MPVs in the Indian market, can soon make a big announcement. According to the information, the company can launch the new car in India in the month of October during the festive season. In some media reports, it is being informed that Kia can introduce EV9 by announcing it in October. This vehicle was showcased by the company at the Auto Expo held in January 2023. After which it was also being sold in some countries last year.

EV9 is available in some of the markets from Kia. The company provides this particular car in the US with some impressive features. This seven-seat electric SUV has options that include rear and all-wheel drive. Batteries with a capacity of 76.1 and 99.8 kWh are fitted other than this. Due to this, it gets a range of up to 541 kilometers. The battery inside the Kia EV9 achieves 239 kilometers in just 15 minutes. It features a Highway Driving Pilot System, Level-3 ADAS, 19,20, 21-inch tyres, vertical headlamps, star map LED DRL, push-button start, smart key, auto rain sensing wipers, three-zone climate control, front ventilated and heated seats, dual sunroof, ambient lights, 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 12-inch head-up display, and OTA updates. In addition to the above features, it also features a 14-speaker audio system and integration for Android Auto and Apple Car Play along with a wireless phone charger.

The SUV is available with two motor drive choices—either the rear-wheel drive or all-wheel. Of them, one motor develops an energy of 150 kW power and 350 Newton meter torque. With this motor, the SUV can reach 0-100 kmph in 9.4 seconds of acceleration. The second will drive from 0-100 kmph in just 8.2 seconds. In addition, the all-wheel-drive model rolls on not one, but two motors, with whomping 283 kW of power output and 600 Newton-meter torque. It can thus make a 0-100 kmph sprint in just six seconds.
