Giving information, the Indian Navy said that this program was organized by the ISS US Navy at the US Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island. Let us tell you that this is an important opportunity to connect with friendly foreign countries towards a common vision of increasing maritime cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.

Meanwhile, CNS also held bilateral talks with its counterparts from different countries outside ISS. These include the United States, Australia, Egypt, Fiji, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and the UK.

The wide-ranging activities during the visit demonstrated the Indian Navy's determination to realize the vision of a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific and an international rules-based order.

Extensive discussions were held to explore greater IN-USN operational engagement in bilateral and multilateral exercises such as MALABAR, RIMPAC, Sea Dragon, and Tiger Triumph. The CNS also spoke in detail about the challenges of human resource management at ISS.

It made special reference to India's initiatives towards recruitment and retention of trained personnel and addressing these through the Agneepath scheme, empowering women and making the Indian Navy a gender-neutral force. CNS's visit to the US has further deepened bilateral cooperation. It also provided an important opportunity for top-level naval engagement to engage with diverse partners in the Indo-Pacific.
