IND vs PAK: Shubman Gill returned, Ashwin did not get a place, this is the playing 11 of Team India in the great match

However, experienced bowler R Ashwin has not been included in the playing eleven.

Shubman Gill has returned to the playing eleven after missing the matches against Australia and then Afghanistan. Gill has been included in the team in place of Ishan Kishan. Shubman is currently in excellent form and scored a lot of runs with his bat in the Asia Cup 2023. Gill was infected with dengue before the Indian team's first game in the World Cup, due to which he had to sit out the first two matches.

Captain Rohit Sharma has not shown confidence in Ravichandran Ashwin in the great match being played against Pakistan. Ashwin was also not included in the playing eleven against Afghanistan. Shardul Thakur has got a chance in place of Ashwin. However, considering Ashwin's experience and the Ahmedabad pitch, his absence from the team is a bit surprising.

To date, India has not faced defeat against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup. A total of seven matches have been played between the two teams so far and the Indian team has won all seven times.
