134 Israeli hostages still in the clutches of Hamas
Israel-Hamas War: The war between Israel and Hamas is still going on. While a large number of Palestinians have died in this war, many Israeli hostages are still in the clutches of Hamas.
The war that has been going on since October 7 between Israel and the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas is still going on. At the beginning of this war, Hamas killed about 1,200 Israeli people and took more than 200 people hostage. Citizens of other countries were also among the hostages. To take revenge on Hamas, Israeli forces are continuously attacking Gaza and surrounding Palestinian areas and due to these attacks, more than 31 thousand Palestinians have been killed and more than 76 thousand Palestinians have been injured. Due to this war, millions of Palestinians have been displaced and they are facing problems even for food. However, despite doing so much, Israel has not yet been able to free all the hostages.
The Israel-Hamas conflict paused on November 24 for four days, then for two days, and finally for one day or one week. A cease-fire was also observed during that period, and Hamas freed its hostages. Israel released the Palestinian prisoners in exchange. Still, Hamas freed only nominal Israeli hostages and most of the hostages from other nations. The information indicates that 134 Israeli hostages—men, women, and children—are still held captive by Hamas.
Despite causing much damage in Gaza, the Israeli army was unable to release its hostages. Israeli attacks have also claimed the lives of three Israeli hostages. It's possible that some additional hostages perished in these assaults. But Hamas still has 134 Israeli hostages in its custody and Israel wants their release. Hamas is also ready for this but with one condition. Hamas's condition for the release of Israeli hostages is a cessation of hostilities. However, Israel is not ready for this. But the mediators are making efforts for this.
