The war between the army and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces started in Sudan on 15 April last year; it is not over yet. Because of this, violence erupts in Sudan now and then. Because of this war, thousands of people lost their lives, millions of people lost their homes and were displaced, the people who have managed to flee are still living in very difficult conditions. Because of the continuous violence going on between North and South Sudan, the food crisis of the country has also turned out to be very grave, with crores of people facing a severe food crisis. RSF often launches an attack in Sudan, and this time also did nothing new. RSF attacked people in Al Fashir, the capital of North Darfur state, for two consecutive days.

In RSF's attack in Al Fashir on Friday, 30 people were killed. The attack targeted a marketplace where hundreds of people had congregated. RSF attacked people once again on Saturday, in which 18 people were killed. Local sources said RSF killed 48 people in just two days.

RSF's attacks injured dozens of people for two days consecutively. The casualties were then sent to the hospital for treatment.
