Zelensky wants to come to India for G20 Summit
Ukrainian President's advisor called Indians less intelligent after not being invited to G20. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to visit India. His journey may be possible by the end of this year. The proposal for Zelensky's visit to India given by Ukraine is currently in the initial stage. If this proposal is finalized then this will be Zelensky's first visit to India since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war.
India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Ukraine's President's Office Head Andrey Yermak have discussed Zelensky's visit. India's stand has been neutral since the beginning of the war. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told Russian President Vladimir Putin that this is not an era of war.
There was resentment over not inviting Zelensky to the G20 summit
The G20 summit was held in India on 9-10 September. Ukraine wanted Zelensky to address the G20. But Zelensky was not invited in this. Angered by this, his advisor Mikhail Podolyak had said that Indians lack intelligence. He had said- India and China do not analyze the consequences of their actions. Unfortunately, the intellectual capacity of these countries is weak.
Ukraine's Foreign Deputy Minister visited India in April
Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Emin Zhaparova had arrived on a four-day visit to India in April. Addressing the Indian Council of World Affairs held in New Delhi, Emin Zhaparova said - the events preceding the Russian attack on Ukraine last year are an example of how bad neighbors should be dealt with. India's relations with China and Pakistan have been difficult. India should learn a lesson from what happened in Crimea. Whenever something goes wrong, if it is not stopped, it becomes a big problem.
We want good relations with India: Zhaparova
Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Emin Zhaparova said- We want good relations with India. Referring to the visit of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval to Russia, he said - Ukraine is watching the reactions of world leaders including PM Modi regarding the war. We are also keeping an eye on the visits of leaders. NSA Ajit Doval visited Moscow thrice. If he comes to Ukraine he is welcome. We want them to come to Ukraine.
