Tension with Iran affects India-Israel flights, Air India temporarily suspends flights
Air India: Tension between Israel and Iran has also affected air services. Air India has decided to suspend flights to and from Israel.

Amidst the ongoing tension between Iran and Israel, Indian aviation company Air India has taken a big decision. Airlines have suspended flights between India and Israel. After the attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria, Iran retaliated by attacking Israel with drones and missiles, after which a conflict started between the two countries.
There was already a chance that air services would be impacted by increasing tensions between Iran and Israel. Flights between India and Israel will continue to be suspended, according to an Air India official. There are four weekly flights from Delhi to Israel by Air India. Due to the tension between Israel and Hamas, the airline had to cancel flights earlier on October 7, 2023. Air services to Israel were reopened on March 3 following a five-month hiatus, but they have since been suspended once more.
