In view of the rush of passengers during the festive season, Indian Railways has decided to run special trains. If you want to go to your home on the occasion of the festival, then there is good news for you. Keeping in view the rush of railway passengers and the facilities, the Chhath Puja special express train will be run via Rourkela, Ranchi, Gaya for one trip between Durg of Chhattisgarh and Patna, the capital of Bihar. Now let us know about these special trains which have been started especially for Chhath.

South East Central Railway spokesperson said that the 08793 special train will leave from Durg at 14.45 pm on Wednesday, November 15, and will reach Raipur via Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro, Chandrapura, Gomoh, Koderma, Gaya and Jehanabad. It will reach Patna on the second day on Thursday at 09.30 am. In return, the 08794 special train will leave Patna at 10.30 am on the same day and will reach Durg at 08.20 am on Friday morning on the next day on its scheduled route. The facility of 22 coaches will be available in the special train.

According to Railways, the special train between Ranchi and Laheria Sarai will stop at Chandrapura, Dhanbad, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Jhajha, Bokaro Steel City, Muri, Madhupur, Kiul, Barauni and Samastipur. Train No. 08626 Ranchi-Laheria Sarai Chhath Puja Special will depart from Ranchi at 23.00 hrs on 09th and 16th November and reach Laheria Sarai at 13.25 hrs the next day. In the return direction, train number 08625 Laheria Sarai-Ranchi Chhath Puja special will arrive from Laheria Sarai at 15.30 hrs on 10th and 17th November. It will reach Ranchi the next day at 3.40 pm.
