Shaheen Shah Afridi became emotional after meeting his son for the first time, forgot the pain of bad defeat, said- now life has changed

Pakistan's young fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi's wife gave birth to a son on 24 August. Shaheen was playing a Test match against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi at that time and due to this he could not meet his son. Shaheen met his son on Monday. Shaheen became emotional after meeting his son. This emotional style of his is seen in his post on X.

The Test match was not good for Shaheen. Pakistan had to face defeat in this match. This is Pakistan's first defeat in a Test match against Bangladesh. However, Shaheen forgot this pain after meeting his son.

Shaheen has posted a photo holding his son's hand on X. With this, he has written that his life had changed on the 24th. He wrote, "This moment changed everything. My heart is full and my life has become much better. 24/08/2024 will always be special for us. Welcome to this world my son Aliyar Afridi."

Shaheen further wrote, "I will always be grateful to my wife for bearing the pain. She is the support system of our small family. I am grateful to everyone for the prayers and good wishes we are getting. Remember my small family in your prayers."

Shaheen is married to Ansa, daughter of former Pakistan captain and excellent all-rounder Shahid Afridi. Both were married on February 3, 2023. She has given birth to a son a day earlier.
