Pakistan: Imran Khan's address to the nation, said- It is better to die than slavery, left Fawad Khan

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the nation on Wednesday evening. In his address, he discussed the current situation in Pakistan. He also mentioned his arrest and the vandalism being meted out to Tehreek-e-Insaf workers. Launching a scathing attack on Shahbaz Sharif's government, Imran Khan said that there is no rule of law in Pakistan. Imran Khan called the Supreme Court the last hope of Pakistan and called upon the judges of the apex court to save the country's democracy. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Imran Khan said that Pakistan is being destroyed. He also said that it is better to die than to be a slave.

In an address to the nation on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) YouTube channel, Imran Khan said, "I want to tell the judges of the Supreme Court, you are our last hope." There is no rule of law in Pakistan. He said, "The country is looking at you and your unity is very important for the public. Now it is up to you to save this country and stand up for the country's democracy, as Pakistan is becoming a Banana Republic."

Imran Khan further said that he is ready to form a committee for talks with the government. He said that the committee will be announced tomorrow. If he tells the committee that he has a solution and the country can function better without me. If he convinces the committee that the country can function better without me, I am ready to step back for the benefit of the people, or if he tells the committee that holding elections in October will benefit Pakistan."

Imran Khan also said that those in power believe that they will crush PTI by October. But this is not possible. In his address, Imran Khan questioned human rights organizations for not raising their voice for democracy. He said, "Where are our human rights? Where are the people who raise their voices for human rights and democracy?" He also said that it is better to die than to be a slave.

Imran said that at present more than 10000 PTI workers are in jail. Imran Khan spoke of action against PTI workers and supporters. He also talked about the problems being faced by Shireen Mazari.

Cricketer-turned-politician Imran said he was relieved that Shireen Mazari left Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to save herself as she was a blood pressure patient and was shifted from one jail to another.

On the other hand, the close ones of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan are leaving him one by one. Now Fawad Chaudhary, who was a minister in his government, has also announced to leave the party. On Wednesday, Fawad gave this information on the Twitter handle and gave another blow to Imran.

Fawad's departure is a big blow to Imran as well as PTI. Fawad has also severed ties with Imran Khan. Hours before his resignation, Imran had said that his party leaders were being 'forcibly divorced'.
