Russian President Vladimir Putin's critic and opposition leader Alexei Navalny died suspiciously on Friday. Navalny was in jail since January 2021 and was sentenced to 11 years and then 19 years in jail and he died in jail. Regarding Navalni's death, the jail administration said that he fainted while walking and due to this he died. But up until a day ago, Navalny appeared to be in perfect health. In this case, it's being said that Putin had a hand in Navalny's demise. Because of the widespread anger in Russia over Navalny's passing, memorial services are being held in his honour at various locations throughout the nation.

In honour of Navalny, events are taking place in more than 32 Russian cities. These events drew about 1,400 attendees who came to honour Navalny. Among these people was also evident anger towards Putin.

From the events held in Navalny's memory, more than 400 people have been arrested by the police. These individuals were arrested for demonstrating their opposition to Navalny's demise.
