The Central Government has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of former President Ramnath Kovind. The committee, headed by the former president, will look into all aspects of the law. It will also explore the possibility of one country, one election. The committee will also take the opinion of the people, which will be discussed. Notification in this regard can be issued soon. In fact, the Central Government has also called a special session of Parliament from 18 to 22 September.
