The iconic Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban, South Africa is ready to host the much-awaited World Masters League T20. Starting from the first week of August 2024, this league includes 6 teams Indraprastha Warriors, Gulf Superstars, Sydney Spartans, Colombo Titans, Lahore Lions, and Caribbean Pirates. The World Masters League T20 will see the performance of powerhouse players from India, Australia, Pakistan, West Indies, and England.
The much-awaited World Masters League T20 is all set to be hosted by the iconic Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban, South Africa. This six-team competition will feature Indraprastha Warriors, Gulf Superstars, Sydney Spartans, Colombo Titans, Lahore Lions, and Caribbean Pirates battling it out from the first week of August 2024.
This is a platform where The World Masters League T20 will take powerhouse performances of players from too many countries, including India, Australia, Pakistan, West Indies, and England. It has created an atmosphere of excitement amongst fans worldwide.
Announcing the venue, World Masters League CEO Mr. Rajiv Mishra said this: We are very excited to bring World Masters League T20 to the most prestigious group of them all at Kingsmead Cricket Stadium. A rich historic venue, it will breathe the aspirations of some of the most extraordinary cricketing talents.
Buckle up your ears to hear the likes of former South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs, Suresh Raina, the pride of Indian cricket, a master at-class Mohammad Kaif, Munaf Patel, former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, and Sri Lankan great Angelo Perera in this T20 league.
Regarding the proposal to be part of the World Masters League T20, Shoaib Malik has said, "It will be a great experience to be a part of the World Masters League T20. It will unite some of the world's best cricketers in a tournament this size. It will be top of the high-voltage event with some heart-pounding contests."
Besides them, up to seven former domestic cricketers, both domestic and Indian, Jesal Karia, Bipul Sharma, Amitoj Singh, Anureet Singh, Abhimanyu Mithun, Ishwar Chaudhary, and Robin Bist, have all signed up for the draft in the World Masters League T.
Now, the 19 thrilling matches of the two pools of 6 teams each in the World Masters League T20 promise the pulse of continuous entertainment before spectators. With the caravan of T20 moving further, players, as well as the spectators, are expected to be at their peak of excitement.
