Team India's victory march continues in the ICC World Cup 2023. After defeating Australia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, Rohit's platoon also defeated Bangladesh on Thursday. The Indian team, which has scored a four-match win, will face New Zealand in Dharamshala in its next match. There will be a lot of excitement in this match to be held on Sunday. However, after this match, many players of the Indian team will return home mid-tournament.

Actually, the match is to be played between India and New Zealand (IND vs NZ) on 22 October. After this, Team India's next match is against England on 29 October. That means there is a gap of about a week between these two matches. In view of this, Indian players will be given a chance to spend time with their families.

Speaking with PTI, a BCCI official has said that the Indian players will return to their respective homes after the match against the Kiwi team. He said that the players will take a break of two to three days and will gather again in Lucknow on October 26.

Before the important match against New Zealand, bad news has come for the Indian team. The team's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will not take the field against the Kiwi team. After the scan, Hardik was advised to rest and because of this, he will not go to Dharamshala with the Indian team. Hardik will now directly join Team India in Lucknow, where India has to face England on October 29. Due to Hardik's exclusion, the tension between captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid has increased.

The performance of the Indian team so far in the World Cup 2023 has been excellent. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India has tasted victory in all four matches played so far. India started its campaign by defeating Australia. After this the team tasted defeat to Afghanistan and then Pakistan in a one-sided manner. At the same time, on Thursday, Team India also scored a victory by defeating Bangladesh by 7 wickets.
