Ahead of its scheduled world premiere, the Italian supercar marque has teased the Lamborghini Urus PHEV on its social media handles. The Urus Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) will come with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine coupled with an electric motor and a 25.9 kWh battery pack.
On April 24, 2024, Lamborghini will introduce the Urus Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV). At the Volkswagen Group Night event, this hybrid performance SUV and five other vehicles that are prepared for their global premieres will be on display.
Along with the Audi Q6 L e-tron and a Volkswagen Concept, the Volkswagen Group is set to unveil five new vehicles. The Lamborghini Urus PHEV has been teased on social media by the Italian supercar brand ahead of its planned global debut.
The PHEV nature of the car is not specifically mentioned in the teaser images shared online, but the prototype does have an electric warning label. The upcoming PHEV version of the Urus will come with a new front bumper and updated LED headlamps, while the rear profile will receive similar updates.
The Lamborghini Urus PHEV's interior will feature an upgraded dashboard with a larger touchscreen infotainment screen. New switchgear, updated trims, and an updated lower display are also anticipated for the SUV.
The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine of the Urus Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) will be coupled with an electric motor and a 25.9 kWh battery pack as part of its powertrain configuration. A maximum power of 719 horsepower and a maximum torque of 948 Nm can be produced by this entire setup.
