'Kohli doesn't deserve....' Aakash Chopra gave controversial statement regarding Virat, fans furious

Former Indian player Aakash Chopra has given a controversial statement regarding former Indian captain and veteran batsman Virat Kohli. After which he is being trolled fiercely. Looking at Kohli's recent form, Chopra believes Kohli doesn't deserve to be in the Fab 4 and is now the Fab 3 in the world. After his statement, Kohli fans have taken a dig at Chopra on social media and are targeting him.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the former Indian opener said, "There is no question about Kane and Joe Root being in the Fab 4. Steve Smith is batting brilliantly. He scored 6 centuries between the year 2020 and July 2023. His average has been around 50. I don't have any questions about them either. But Virat Kohli and David Warner have now come under the scanner. These are no longer in Fab 4. Now there are only Fab 3.

He further said that you can think of adding Babar Azam's name to this group as he has done very well in Test cricket recently, but still, he does not deserve to be included in this group at this point in time. On his statement, Kohli started trolling him on fans and Twitter. One wrote, 'Now those who play 10 Test matches will tell what the legend who scored 75 centuries deserves and what not.'

Another fan wrote, 'Aakash Chopra ji Kohli plays better than you even in his worst form.' Talking about Test cricket, Virat Kohli's performance has not been very good since 2020. He has been able to score just one Test century so far and averages just 29.69. At the same time, Virat Kohli is currently on a tour of the West Indies with the Indian cricket team and Team India has to participate in the two-match Test series there. This test series will start on 12th July.
