At the same time, the Israeli army found a tunnel under the classroom of a school in Gaza. Here, many Israeli soldiers have lost their eyes in the war that started on October 7. Apart from this, some soldiers have serious injuries. Some have undergone surgery. Jerusalem Post has given this information.

The tunnel leads to the mosque
Israeli soldiers were raiding Shejaiya city. Then Hamas terrorists clashed with them inside a school. After the firing here, the army found a tunnel under the classroom. The army says that this tunnel leads to a mosque built nearby. Terrorists are attacking from schools and mosques. More than 200 schools and colleges have been destroyed so far in the war.

What is the reason for bad eyesight?

  • According to Israeli media house KAN, many Israeli soldiers fighting in Gaza have been found with serious injuries in their eyes. Their exact number was not disclosed, but it was definitely said that about 40 Israeli soldiers suffered eye injuries in a month.
  • According to this report, 15% of these soldiers are such who may lose the vision of one or both eyes. This has already happened with some. The reason given for this was that in the initial phase of the war, Israeli soldiers did not use protective gear, especially special battle glasses.
  • While some soldiers have shrapnel injuries in their eyes, there are some who did not wear glasses during firing and the poisonous smoke or some gunpowder after firing from the gun went into their eyes.
  • Israel's Soroka Medical Center has made special battle gear for the soldiers. Last month, the Israeli government had reacted to similar reports. He had said- Our soldiers have no shortage of any protective gear.

Netanyahu unhappy with Palestinian Prime Minister

After the war, the government in Gaza is handed over. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that after the end of the war, the Palestine Authority Organization (PLO) is not acceptable to him.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that handing over the command of Gaza to the Palestine Authority after the war is not a solution to the issue. This statement of Netanyahu is important. In fact, on Friday, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Satayeh had said in an interview given to Bloomberg that after the war, he is ready to take over the governance of Gaza and Hamas can also be taken along in it.

Satayeh had admitted that under backdoor diplomacy, he is continuing talks with America regarding the post-war situation in Gaza. He also believed that Hamas could be given a place in the post-war government with strict conditions.

Netanyahu gave a blunt answer on this issue. Said- Which Hamas are they talking about? There will be no Hamas left after the war. I also want to make it clear that Palestine Authority is also not the solution to this issue.

Hamas will face strict conditions

  • According to the news agency 'Reuters', talks are going on between America and Palestine Authority on the issue related to the governance of Gaza after the war. Palestine Authority Prime Minister Mohammad Satayeh himself has disclosed this.
  • The most important aspect of this conversation is that the terrorist organization Hamas, which was once a part of the Palestine Authority, has also not been kept out of the plan. However, for this he will have to accept all the conditions.
  • According to the report, after the end of the war in Gaza, Hamas will not be completely eliminated from the system there. Actually, there is a preparation to make Hamas a junior partner of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
  • The preparation is to make Gaza an independent state. This should include the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem and Ramallah. Palestine Authority Prime Minister Satayeh himself admitted this in an interview given to media house Bloomberg.
  • The thinking behind not keeping Hamas out of this plan is that after the war, more or less, Hamas' influence will remain in Gaza. Therefore, completely excluding him from any system or plan can create problems.

Israel's Operation 'Swords of Iron' against 'Al-Aqsa Flood'
Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October. He named his operation against Israel 'Al-Aqsa Flood'. In response, the Israeli army started 'Swords of Iron' operation against Hamas. Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif had said - This attack is revenge for Israel's desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Actually, Israeli police had thrown grenades at Al-Aqsa Mosque in April 2023.

At the same time, Hamas spokesperson Ghazi Hamad told Al Jazeera - This action is our answer to those Arab countries which are growing closer to Israel. In recent days, media reports had claimed that Saudi Arabia may recognize Israel as a country on America's initiative.
