Israel Hamas War: Electric vehicle charging stations will open in Israel amid war, Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced

Israel's Energy and Infrastructure Ministry is providing funding to install 707 ultra-fast and high-speed (DC) charging stations on transportation routes and central locations across the country amid the ongoing war with Hamas.

Giving information, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure said that the Gas Administration has announced the names of the winners of the tender for the construction of fast and ultra-fast charging stations for electric vehicles. The ministry will allocate approximately US$7 million to 52 entrepreneurs across the country.

The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure reported that 350 ultra-fast charging stations for electric vehicles and 357 fast charging stations for electric vehicles in Israel will soon be installed throughout the country. It is noteworthy that Israel currently has more than 4,000 public charging stations, of which about 3,400 are slow and more than 600 are fast.

Let us tell you that after charging for 10 minutes at an ultra-fast charging station, you will be able to travel 150-200 km. Apart from this, after charging for 30 minutes at a fast charging station (DC), one can travel 150-200 km.
