India vs England, Visakhapatnam Test: India won the toss and decided to bat first. The Indian team has come on the field with only three spinners and two fast bowlers. Mohammad Siraj has been rested. Kuldeep is playing in place of Jadeja, Rajat Patidar in place of Rahul and Mukesh Kumar in place of Siraj.
The second match of the five-match Test series being played between India and England has started. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and decided to bat first in this match being played at Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Young batsman from Madhya Pradesh Rajat Patidar is going to debut for India in this match. Patidar recently made his debut in ODI cricket. Now he has got a chance in the Test also. This means that Sarfaraz Khan will have to wait longer. India has made three changes in this match. Apart from Patidar, Kuldeep Yadav and Mukesh Kumar have been included in the playing 11. Apart from KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Siraj is not playing in this match.
England captain Ben Stokes said that he also wanted to bat first after winning the toss. England have also made two additions to their playing 11. Indian-origin spinner Shoaib Bashir and fast bowler James Anderson have got a chance. Jack Leach and Mark Wood are not playing in this match due to injury. The Indian team is currently trailing 0-1. India had to face defeat in the first test played in Hyderabad. In this match, India will try to make a comeback in the series.
