Huma Qureshi opened the secret after 11 years, how much fee was received for Gangs of Wasseypur

Huma Qureshi is in discussion these days for her film 'Tarla'. Huma Qureshi, who has spent over a decade in Bollywood, made her debut with Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur. This film was a hit and his character was also well appreciated. Released in 2012, the film made Huma famous overnight. However, the fee that Huma got for this film was very less. He himself has disclosed this.

Huma said in a conversation with Barkha Dutt, I got my first success very early. By 2010 I came to Mumbai and in 2012 Gangs of Wasseypur was released. The film was well-received across the country and became a huge hit. While shooting for this film, I had no idea what was going on. When the film was released and I saw myself on the poster, I was very happy that I am in the lead role. I was paid around Rs 75,000 for this film. Although I felt that being the lead, I should have got a little more money.

According to Huma, during the shooting of the Gangs of Wasseypur, we did not have five-star hotels to stay, vanity vans, and many people to help us. Even huge sets were not used for this film. We all went to Varanasi for 3 months, shot, and came back. No one had any idea what was happening. Everyone was just following Anurag. Most of the people came to know after the release of his role.
