Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) is all set to launch its much-awaited SUV, the Honda Elevate, in India on September 4. The SUV will be sold through Honda's premium dealership chain, the Honda Signature Stores.

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) is all set to launch its much-awaited SUV, the Honda Elevate, in India on September 4. The SUV will be sold through Honda's premium dealership chain, the Honda Signature Stores.

The Honda Elevate is based on the Honda City platform and will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 121 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a CVT automatic transmission.

The Honda Elevate will come with a host of features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360-degree parking camera.

The SUV will also come with Honda's Sensing suite of safety features, which includes features such as autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.

The Honda Elevate is expected to be priced in the ₹20-25 lakh range. It will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the Skoda Kushaq.
