Extratropical Cyclone Hits Brazil: An extratropical cyclonic storm has caused havoc in Brazil. At least four people were killed when an extratropical cyclone hit Brazil's southern state of Rio Grande do Sul on Monday. The storm caused flooding in more than 15 cities in the state bordering Argentina and Uruguay, Xinhua news agency reported.

At least four people have been killed in floods and landslides caused by an extratropical cyclone in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. Local officials gave this information.

A man died of electrocution on Monday after a house was flooded due to the floods caused by the cyclone, while another youth and a couple died when their cars got washed away in the floodwaters.

More than 15 towns in the state bordering Argentina and Uruguay were flooded due to the cyclonic storm, Xinhua news agency reported. Apart from all these flood-affected states, the state capital Porto Alegre is also included.

In June, 16 people died in the state due to the arrival of an extratropical cyclone.
