Defence: Directorate General of Quality Assurance will be reorganized, Self-reliant India campaign will get new momentum
Defence: The ongoing measures to restructure and reform the DGQA will provide impetus to the arms manufacturers within the country as well as the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign. At the same time, the export of high-quality defence products will also get a boost.

The country's Defense Ministry is continuously working to strengthen its fleet. He has become very strict about the quality of his weapons and equipment. Therefore now the Department of Defense Production has issued a notification for the reorganization of the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA). It is being said that the purpose of this restructuring is to speed up the quality checking processes and tests.
This reorganisation aims to integrate the updated role of the Directorate General following OFB's corporatization and modify the Quality Assurance methodology. This will also guarantee product quality and allow for single-point technical support for the entire weapon/equipment platform at all levels.
The partnership between the Directorate General of Quality Assurance and the defence industry is expected to improve as a result of the move. The Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign and the nation's armaments manufacturers will benefit from the ongoing efforts to reorganise and reform the DGQA. High-quality defence product exports will also increase concurrently.
