A surveillance platform named Pro-Med has issued a worldwide alert regarding pneumonia in China. This platform keeps information about diseases spreading among humans and animals. Pro-Med had also issued an alert regarding Corona in December 2019.

According to the report of Pro-Med, it is not yet known when this disease started spreading. The platform has also not told whether this disease is limited only to children or it is affecting the youth and the elderly as well.

It is too early to call it an epidemic.
Last week, China's National Health Commission had cited the lifting of Corona restrictions as the reason for the spread of pneumonia. WHO has asked for a list of all types of viruses currently spreading in China to investigate the disease. At the same time, people have been asked to wear masks and follow social distancing.

WHO has not yet given any information on whether the mysterious disease is an epidemic. At the same time, Pro-Med has also said that it would be wrong and hasty to call this an epidemic. At present it is extremely cold in China. There are chances of the temperature reaching near zero degrees.

WHO-China still differ on Corona
Till now there are differences between China and WHO on the Corona epidemic. WHO was continuously criticizing China during the pandemic. WHO had alleged that China did not inform the world about the Corona epidemic in time and did not even cooperate. More than 3 years have passed since the Corona epidemic. Till now the debate regarding its origin continues. Scientists are divided on two theories.

Scientists who believe in the first theory believe that the corona virus leaked from China's Wuhan Lab. Where the virus was being studied. At the same time, scientists who believe in the second theory feel that Covid spread to the local market through an animal and then took the form of an epidemic.

WHO says that China has a lot of data from which the origin of the corona virus can be understood. However, China is not sharing this.
