Heat Wave: The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of severe heat in Kolkata and its surrounding districts. Given this, the Calcutta High Court has decided to exempt lawyers from wearing gout.

The forecast of severe heat has been issued by the Meteorological Department. According to this, there may be severe heat in Kolkata and its surrounding districts for the next five days. During this period, people have also been advised to be careful.
Keeping in view the weather forecast, the Calcutta High Court has decided that lawyers will be exempted from wearing gowns till the end of summer vacations. The court said that after the summer holidays, the court's work will start on June 10, till then the lawyers are exempted from wearing gowns. Summer vacations will start in Calcutta High Court on May 19.
A lawyer said that last year i.e. in 2023 also, lawyers were exempted from wearing gowns in the Calcutta High Court during summer.
