Mahua Moitra

One of India's most respected/educated businessmen would sign such a letter on white paper only if a gun was held to his head.

Actually Hiranandani had said, he had the login ID and password of Lok Sabha of Mahua. Due to this, he himself used to put questions on behalf of Mahua.

Mahua Moitra made allegations against Gautam Adani in Parliament so that he could tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hiranandani has issued an affidavit with his signature. Hiranandani has real estate and energy business.

Mahua's answer - This letter is fake, put a gun to your head and get it signed on white paper
Mahua further asked – Darshan Hiranandani has not been summoned yet by CBI or Ethics Committee or any investigating agency. Then to whom has he given this affidavit? This has been prepared by some half-intelligent people in PMO just to defame me.

In fact, BJP MP from Godda, Jharkhand, Nishikant wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker on October 15. In this he alleged that Moitra had received gifts and cash from Hiranandani for asking questions in the House. After this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla sent the matter to the Ethics Committee.

Mahua Moitra demands ban on posting derogatory content
On the other hand, Mahua Moitra has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court. On which hearing is to be held on Friday. Mahua's demand is against BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, lawyers, many social media platforms and media houses who are posting or publishing derogatory content. That should be banned.

5 revelations in Hiranandani's letter

1. Mahua used to demand expensive gifts
Hiranandani claims that Mahua used to demand luxury items from him. He said that I helped in the renovation of Mahua's bungalow in Delhi and spent money on his trips during holidays. Not only this, they also provided logistical help during travel in parts of the country and the world.

2. I am Mahua's close friend
Hiranandani said that I met Mahua during the Bengal Global Business Summit in 2017. She was an MLA at that time. Over the years we became close friends. I had expressed my desire to expand business in states ruled by opposition parties. Mahua was very ambitious and wanted to earn name at the national level. He was advised by his friends that the best possible way to become famous in the country was to target Modi.
'However, PM Modi has a tremendous image and he does not give anyone a chance to target his policies, government and himself. Then Mahua thought that now there is only one way to attack Modi – to target Gautam Adani and his companies.

3. I had Mahua's email ID
Hiranandani claims that I gave him questions to ask in the House regarding Adani. He asked the same question in Parliament and got a good response. Mahua was very happy with this response. After this Mahua asked me for help in questioning Adani. He shared his MP's email ID with me, so that I could post questions directly on his behalf.

4. Congress leaders also helped
Mahua Moitra was getting help from others like Sucheta Dalal, Shardul Shroff and Pallavi Shroff. All of them used to give unverified information related to Adani and his company. Congress leaders were also supporting him in this matter. All of them were in contact with journalists of media organizations like Financial Times, New York Times, BBC and used to get incomplete information about Adani. Then it was lifted on different platforms.

5. I knew Mahua was taking advantage of me
Many times I felt that Mahua was taking advantage of me. They are pressurizing me to do work, which I don't want to do, but I had no choice.
