According to information received from RTI, a total of 114 Indian cricketers have been dope tested in two years. In this, Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Test team India, has done the most six times. At the same time, there are 12 such big players including Virat Kohli, who have not been tested for dope even once. Actually, the Anti-Doping Agency conducts dope test of all the players. The Board of Control for Cricket in India came under the ambit of NADA in 2019. Quoting information received from RTI, an Indian Express report said that between 2021 and 2022, 5962 players have been tested for dope. However, 12 cricketers, including Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya, who came in contact with the BCCI, have not been tested for dope even once.

Indian team captain Rohit Sharma was tested for dope in these two years in Chennai, Ahmedabad, Mumbai as well as in UAE. On the other hand, 7 players including Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Cheteshwar Pujara were tested for dope only once during this period. At the same time, all Indian women cricketers have been dope tested at least once. Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana were tested thrice each.
