Audi A6 Avant E-Tron may be launched soon in the Indian market, glimpse of design and interior seen during testing

The A6 Avant E-Tron, Audi India's newest electric vehicle, has been observed undergoing road testing. Audi said at the concept car's introduction that the production model would inherit about 95% of the concept's design.

The car's production debut is anticipated by the manufacturer for the middle of this year. Spy photos of the prototype under test have previously appeared on the internet. Tell us about any potential designs for it.

The spy photos display the Audi signature single-frame grille on the A6 Avant E-Tron, which is an enclosed panel with angular battery cooling vents on either side and split digital matrix LED headlights with the primary unit and DRLs below.

The dash-to-axle ratio looks taller than on the current model, and the Avant has a long, low profile. Even the side mirror cameras have been replaced. However, this car will have inset door handles rather than pop-out flush door handles.

Audi has not yet made the A6 Avant e-tron's interior public. Audi's latest Digital Stage infotainment system, featuring a 14.9-inch infotainment system and an 11.9-inch digital driver display on a curved glass screen, is available for the new Q6 e-tron. Aside from this, the passenger has access to a 10.9-inch touchscreen display.

The Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture of the company, which also supports the Porsche Macan EV, is probably going to be used by the Audi A6 Avant E-Tron. The 800-volt design and 100 kWh battery pack is tipped for a declared WLTP range of 435 miles (700 kilometres), with DC fast charging at up to 270kW.
