Dhawan said, 'I will definitely be ready to return. That's why I have kept myself fit. There is always a chance, whether it is one percent or 20 percent. I still enjoy training and I still enjoy playing. These things are under my control. Whatever decision was taken, I respect it.
He further said, 'I have not spoken to any selector about the future. I keep going to the National Cricket Academy and have a lot of fun there. The facilities are excellent and this institute has played a big role in shaping my career for which I am grateful. Dhawan is still a centrally contracted cricketer and spends a lot of time at the National Cricket Academy. Even after performing consistently well in the IPL, he is not getting a permanent place in the team.
