Andhra Pradesh: Six people have allegedly assaulted a Dalit youth in NTR district. After beating the young man, the accused also urinated on him. The Dalit youth was held and beaten by six accused for four hours and when he asked for water, the accused urinated on him.

A shocking incident has come to light from Andhra Pradesh. According to the police, six people have allegedly tied up and beaten up a Dalit youth in the NTR district of the state. After beating the young man, the accused also urinated on him.

Officials said that according to the information received, the Dalit youth was held and beaten by six accused for four hours and when he asked for water, the accused urinated on him.

The victim has been identified as Shyam Kumar. Police have registered a non-bailable case and arrested all the six accused. After the incident came to light, the Scheduled Caste (SC) cell of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) protested and even blocked the roads.

The protest was organized by TDP SC cell president MMS Raju, who blocked the highway near Kanchikacharla and staged protests on both sides of the highway.

During the protests, protesters were seen in several videos raising slogans of 'we want justice'. Visuals also showed police officers taking away one of the prominent protesters by the arms and legs to break up the protest and move the crowd off the road.

Speaking to media persons, the TDP SC Cell President said that attacks on Dalits have increased under the rule of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. A lot of attacks on Dalits are going on in the state. A young boy named Shyam Kumar was attacked by the ruling party.
