In such a situation, Ameesha is expecting her career to gain momentum from this film. Ameesha's career started off brilliantly but this period of success did not last long. Ameesha believes that somewhere due to the tremendous success of 'Gadar' she suffered some losses. Which had a bad effect on his career.
Ameesha Patel made her debut in the year 2000 with the film 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai', which was a tremendous hit. After this, his 'Gadar', which came in the year 2001, broke the records of success at that time. After the stupendous success of the first two films, Ameesha's career began to decline in such a way that gradually she got sidelined from the industry.
Talking to IANS on the question of career decline, Ameesha said, "Gadar had changed my world. This film was a game-changer for my career. The film gave me a different identity. Many people thought that she would not be able to play the role of a mother of a child but I did and people appreciated me a lot. All good things come with a price. The success of Gadar also had a negative effect.
Ameesha said that I have worked in many successful films like 'Humraaz', 'Race 2' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' but just paled in front of the benchmark that Gadar had set. Due to 'Gadar' people's expectations became so high that not only me but also Sunny Deol's career started going downhill. This was another aspect of the success of 'Gadar', which is not so bright.
