Aishwarya Rai's Ponniyin Selvan 2 Sets Box Office Ablaze with Record-breaking Advance Bookings, Rakes in Crores Prior to Release

South's famous director Mani Ratnam's second part of Ponniyin Selvan's film 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' is ready for release. The Chiyan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer film depicts the story of the Chola Empire. Its first part was released in the year 2022 and was liked by the people. PS1 earned more than 500 crores worldwide and proved that if the content is good then the film will be liked everywhere.

After the stupendous success of Ponniyin Selvan, the makers are coming with its next part. Recently advance booking for 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' has been started. According to media reports, PS 2 has set flags in advance booking itself. The film has earned one to two crores. Around 50 thousand tickets have been booked.

The makers of Ponniyin Selvan 2 have shared other details related to the film. This movie will be released on IMAX. At the same time, this time the story of the power struggle and revenge in the Chola dynasty of South has been shown in the film. Aishwarya Rai will once again be seen as Nandini after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He is the main character of this film.

Apart from this, Chiyaan Vikram and Trisha Krishnan will also be seen in the main roles in the film. Without whom the story of the Chola Empire is incomplete. The story of PS 2, made with a budget of 500 crores, will be shown in two parts, the first part of which was released on September 30, 2022.
