Accidents in two coal mines in China, 12 people died
China Coal Mine Accidents: Once again cases of accidents in coal mines have come to light in China and this time there have been accidents in two mines within 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, cases of accidents have been reported in two coal mines in China. Both accidents occurred in different mines. According to the information, the first accident occurred just before midnight on Monday in a coal bunker in Zhongyang County of Shanxi Province, in which the bunker collapsed. The bunker that collapsed belonged to Taoyuan Xinlong Coal Industry Co., Ltd. The second accident occurred due to a gas explosion in the coal mine of Huihe Energy in China's eastern Anhui province on Monday evening.
A coal bunker collapsed in Zhongyang County, killing five people. A gas explosion at Huihe Energy's coal mine in the province of Anhui claimed the lives of seven people. Twelve people perished in both incidents.
In each of the two accidents, two persons vanished. Both locations are conducting searches to locate the missing individuals.
In China, the number of coal mine accidents is rising. About 168 of these incidents occurred in China last year, resulting in 245 fatalities. These kinds of cases have also begun this year. Similar incidents involving fatalities from coal mine accidents occurred in January and February as well.
