In protest against Imran's arrest, his supporters damaged government and private properties. According to the report, Imran's supporters destroyed property worth about 25 crores. Also fired at several police stations.
Due to these actions of Imran supporters, Army Chief General Asim Munir had warned that those who carried out these attacks would be punished by the army in such a way that their generations would remember. At the same time, Munir also said that the planners, instigators, instigators, and perpetrators of this barbarism will not be spared from the side of the army.
The army is considered the most powerful force in Pakistan. After Imran gets relief from the Supreme Court, the army can take action against Imran in the military court. In this action, Imran can be prosecuted under Sections 59 and 60 of the Military Act of the Army and if found guilty, he can be sentenced to life imprisonment or death. The Supreme Court is being accused of saving Imran. In such a situation, Imran's case is likely to go to the military court soon.
Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was accused of the murder of Mohammad Ahmed Khan Kasuri. In such a situation, the then army chief Zia ul-Haq put Zulfikar in jail while implementing martial law in the country through the coup of Zulfikar's army. After this, the Lahore High Court sentenced him to death and the Supreme Court also did not give him relief. After this Zulfikar was hanged on April 4, 1979.
Some people believe that the condition of Imran can be similar to that of Zulfikar. Although what will happen with Imran, only time will tell.
