Vistara Flight: Bomb threat in Delhi-Pune Vistara flight, passengers disembarked, investigation underway

The Delhi-Pune Vistara flight was being searched after a phone call claiming that there was a bomb threat. According to the ANI report, on Friday, the GMR call center received a call about a bomb on the Delhi-Pune Vistara flight. Following this, the aircraft is undergoing inspection at the isolation bay at the Delhi airport. All the passengers along with their luggage have been disembarked safely. On receiving a call about a bomb threat, airline officials halted boarding and called in the bomb squad. At present the search operation is going on.

Delhi Police says that CISF and Delhi Police are on alert. Officials had said that teams of NSG and local police were conducting searches after receiving a bomb threat on the plane. However, nothing suspicious has been found here so far.
