Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 entry in India, this luxury car will give a tremendous range of 500 KM

After premiering at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August 2023, the futuristic Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 has been introduced in Mumbai. The Maybach 6 is an all-electric aero coupe that certainly looks different than any other luxury coupe we have.

Although the Maybach 6 measures 5,700 mm in length, it seats only four passengers and is reminiscent of an aero-style coupe like the 300SL. The Maybach 6 also borrows the gullwing doors from the SL.

Its front end is 2,100 mm wide and features LED wing lights as well as an attractive chrome grille. It is decorated with Mercedes-Benz logos and comes dressed in Maybach Red paintwork. The rear end of the Maybach 6 is again unique. With its extended round 'boat-tail design motif it looks like a luxury yacht.

Talking about the interior, you get a 360-degree lounge in Maybach 6. Its entire cabin has been designed as a wraparound cockpit with a large glass area. The front dash of the coupe is minimalist and extends to the center console with illuminated elements.

Apart from two circular dials behind the steering wheel, there is no touchscreen in the Maybach 6. This is because driver-related data and geographical location are displayed across the windscreen and many functions are operated through gestures rather than physical controls.

The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 is an all-electric coupe and gets all-wheel-drive thanks to a dedicated PMS electric motor for each wheel. These motors generate a combined output of 740 hp from an 80 kWh battery pack, which is found in the coupe's underfloor.

The drivetrain generates enough thrust to propel the Maybach 6 from 0-100 kmph in under 4 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. It offers an NEDC claimed range of 500 km on a full charge.
