Donald Trump won the Iowa caucus elections held on January 15 and got 51 per cent votes.

Ron DeSantis was voted in by 21 per cent and Nikki Haley by 19 per cent. Vivek Ramaswamy, who is now out of the presidential race, had to be content with 7 per cent votes. Nikki Haley's popularity has continuously increased in recent times. While she can defeat Trump in New Hampshire, South Carolina is her state, where she has been the governor twice. This is the reason why Trump will have to face a tough challenge from Nikki Haley to get the nomination from the Republican Party. Regarding Ron DeSantis, it is being said that he is short of funds and there is little hope of a better performance in New Hampshire. In such a situation, he is focusing on South Carolina.
