He said any traffic going from east to west would have to pass through Turkiye. Israel and Jordan will also benefit from this project of a total of 8 countries including India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, America, France, Germany, Italy and European Union.

Corrido will start from Mumbai and will go to Europe
This new corridor starting from Mumbai will be an alternative to China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). This corridor will be 6 thousand km long. This includes 3500 km sea route.

After the construction of the corridor, about 40% time will be saved in transporting goods from India to Europe. Currently, it takes 36 days for any cargo from India to reach Germany by shipping, this route will save 14 days. With direct access to Europe, import-export will be easier and cheaper for India.

There are seven reasons why India got involved in this project.

1. Initially, India and America were working in the Indo-Pacific region, but for the first time both have become partners in the Middle East.
2. Pakistan, the biggest obstacle to India's land connectivity with Central Asia, has been broken. He had been trying to stop this effort since 1991.
3. India's relations with Iran have improved, but due to US sanctions, plans for the Russia-Iran Corridor from Iran to Eurasia are being affected.
4. Partnership with Arab countries has increased, UAE and Saudi government are also making efforts to create permanent connectivity with India.
5. America hopes that this mega connectivity project will bring political stability in the Arabian Peninsula and normalize relations.
6. The European Union had earmarked 300 million euros for infrastructure spending during 2021-27. India also became its partner.
7. The new corridor is an alternative to China's Belt and Road Initiative. Many countries will get freedom from China's debt trap. Becoming a partner of the African Union in the G-20 will help in stopping the increasing bullying of China and Russia in African countries.

China got upset, said - a lot of talk, little work China's official newspaper Global Times has written that America has once again carried forward its old plan in the G-20 summit in Delhi. This is not the first time that America has presented a blueprint for expanding this scheme.

This American project with the aim of isolating China from the world has not yet received a good response. Rail lines have been promised in the Gulf and Arab countries, but the US does not have the real intention and capacity. America has once again proved that much has been said and less has been done.
