Toyota Innova Hycross becomes costlier by ₹42 thousand

The entry-level GX variant of this multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) has now become costlier by Rs 10,000, while prices on all other variants of the MPV have been increased by Rs 42,000. After the increase in price, now its ex-showroom price will start from Rs 19.77 lakh and will go up to Rs 30.68 lakh.

The company had announced the increase in prices from January 1. Now new prices of Innova High Cross have been revealed, new prices of other cars will be announced soon. It is a self-charging strong hybrid electric vehicle (SHEV). The company launched it in India on 28 December 2022. Toyota has discontinued the GX Limited Edition of this car from the company's lineup. At the same time, its waiting period has increased to 14 months.

Innova Hycross comes in four variants GX, VX, ZX and ZX(O). It has the option of 7 and 8 seat configuration. The company offers a standard warranty of 3 years or 1,00,000 km and an optional extended warranty of up to 5 years or 2,20,000 km with the Hycross. Apart from this, a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km is given on the hybrid battery.

The Innova Hycross is powered by a 2.0-litre strong hybrid engine that returns a fuel efficiency of 21.1 kmpl and a range of 1097km on a full tank. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 9.5 seconds. The new TNGA 2.0-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine with CVT produces 174 PS of power. Whereas the maximum power of the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine with e-drive is 186 ps.

The Innova Hycross has an SUV-centric design. It gets a larger new front grille, which is flanked by sleeker LED headlamps. Its front bumper looks quite aggressive and it has been provided with 18 inch alloy wheels. Wraparound LED tail-lamps are available in the rear of the Hycross. Talking about the dimensions of Innova Hycross, it is bigger in size than Innova Crysta. The Innova Hycross is 20 mm longer, 20 mm wider and has a 100 mm wheelbase.

The interior of Innova Hycross gets 2 new colors: Black and Dark Chestnut. Apart from this, it includes many great interior features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, powered ottoman seats in the second row, mood lighting and a powered tailgate.
