I am still a struggling artist
After playing the role of Advocate Pramod Kumar in 'Jolly LLB', Annu Kapoor has once again been very active in Hindi cinema. He says, 'It is not easy to make a name in the Hindi film industry. Everyone works hard and it is not necessary that everyone's hard work becomes successful. I still consider myself a struggling artiste and I have to act to support my family. This is my livelihood, not my hobby or passion.
They are lucky people
Annu Kapoor's outspokenness becomes more vocal when the veteran stars of his cinema are discussed. Annu says, 'People often ask me, what are my comments about stars like Amitabh Bachchan or Shahrukh Khan? Or how was my experience working with the super stars of Hindi cinema? I say this every time that all these people are fortunate that the public has rewarded them for their hard work. Thousands of other people also came into the film industry along with him, but they were not so fortunate.

Recently, Annu Kapoor has done unconventional roles in 'Dream Girl', 'Dream Girl 2', 'Sooraj Pe Mangal Bhari' and 'Sab Moh Maya Hai'. He says, ‘Cinema is definitely changing. Like literature, cinema is also a mirror of the society and it also shows what the society is like. Now in the society there are no such talks about artists like Sunny Leone and Jacqueline Fernandez. Their adoption in the new social environment is a big indicator of the change in the thinking of our society.
My experimentation will continue
Annu Kapoor says, 'My passion for experimenting with characters still remains intact. But, I can't choose the characters because I'm not in that position right now. Whatever roles come to me, I just look at what new I can do as an actor in it.
