In the State Level Open Karate Championship, the players of the host Raipur district won the maximum number of medals and won the title of overall champion. Raipur won the champion trophy by winning 17 gold medals. At the same time, the players of Durg finished second by winning 14 gold medals. Rajnandgaon won 10 gold medals and got the third position. About 500 boys and girls in the age group of 6 to 13 years and above 13 years from 25 districts displayed their talent in Kata and Kumite events in this competition organized at Swami Vivekananda International Stadium, Kota, Raipur. MLA Vikas Upadhyay, Chamber of Commerce President Amar Parwani, and Councilor Ajit Kukreja awarded the winners of this competition.
Host Raipur's Jasraj Singh achieved golden success. Whereas, Shakya Borkar won the silver medal. Hargun Kaur also won the gold medal. Abhay Borkar had to settle for a bronze medal. Dev Nayak won silver, and Kushagra Chandra and Divyansh Nail also won silver medals. Bhubaneshwar won the gold medal.
