Shahrukh Khan received death threat
Mumbai Police gave Y+ security; 6 police commandos will remain with you 24 hours. Mumbai Police has given Y+ security to Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan. According to sources, Mumbai Police has received information that some people dissatisfied with the success of his films 'Pathan' and 'Jawaan' have threatened to kill Shahrukh.
Some media reports have claimed that Shahrukh himself had complained about this, after which he has been given security. Under this Y+ security, 6 personal security officers and 5 policemen with weapons will remain with Shahrukh Khan 24 hours. Till now, two constables of Mumbai Police were present with Shahrukh Khan every moment for his security.
Security personnel will be equipped with advanced weapons
Mumbai Police has issued a notification to all the police jurisdictions of Maharashtra and requested all the unit commanders to give Y+ security to Shahrukh Khan with immediate effect. The security personnel present under his security will be equipped with MP-5 machine guns, AK-47 assault rifles and Glock pistols. Police said that four armed policemen will also be present at Khan's bungalow at all times.
Shahrukh will pay for the security cover himself
The big thing is that Shahrukh will pay for his security cover himself. Giving this information, the police said that in India, private security personnel are not allowed to be equipped with modern weapons. However, this security will remain in place only until the committee reviews the threat.

Earlier, Salman Khan was provided Y+ security after he received threats from Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Apart from this, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher have got X security cover in which they have got 3 PSOS who stay with them 24 hours in three shifts.

- Received threat to burn alive at the time of release of Pathan: Earlier this year, Shahrukh was accused of insulting the saffron color in the film 'Pathan'. Then the sages and saints of Ayodhya also came to protest against this film. Saint Jagatguru Paramahamsa Acharya of Ayodhya had even threatened to burn Shahrukh Khan alive.
- The crowd had come to protest outside the bungalow: On August 26, heavy police force was deployed outside Shahrukh Khan's bungalow Mannat, when suddenly many protesters came to protest against the advertisement of Shahrukh Khan's gaming app.
- Gangster Ravi Pujari had threatened to kill him: In 2014 too, gangster Ravi Pujari had threatened to kill him. The gangster had demanded Shahrukh to give him the overseas rights of his film Happy New Year. He said that if this did not happen, Shahrukh's life could be in danger.
- There was controversy over My Name is Khan: During the film 'My Name is Khan' in 2010, Shahrukh had received many threats. Even then he was provided security.

- Aamir Khan: Aamir received death threats during the first season of the TV show 'Satyamev Jayate'. For his security, Aamir had bought a bullet proof car worth Rs 10 crore.
- Akshay Kumar: Akshay had received threatening calls from gangster Ravi Pujari. Media reports said that Akshay had fired a woman working at his house. Regarding this, Ravi told him that he had made a big mistake. After receiving threatening calls for 2 years, Akshay had lodged a complaint with the police.
- Gulshan Kumar: Underworld don Abu Salem had demanded Rs 10 crore from T-Series founder and bhajan king Gulshan Kumar. When he refused to give this money, Gulshan was murdered outside the temple in 1997.
- Rakesh Roshan: Even bullets have been fired at Hrithik Roshan's father. In 2000, just two days after the release of son Hrithik's debut film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai', some shooters shot him outside his office. He was immediately rushed to the hospital due to which his life was saved.

Shahrukh starrer 'Pathan', released in January 2023, had collected a total of Rs 1050 crore. The film collected Rs 654 crore in the country and Rs 396 crore overseas. Jawan, released in September 2023, has so far collected Rs 623 crore in India. Its worldwide collection has reached 1108 crores.
Shahrukh's upcoming film is Dunky. It will be released on December 22, on the occasion of Christmas. It is directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
